Description

In Wool Street, you buy, sell, and trade colorful woolen goods in order to end up with the trendiest items in your wardrobe and lose as little as possible on the stock market. Analyze the market in order to act cleverly at the right time!

The wool products that sell fastest in New York are considered the trendiest. The player who has the trendiest wool products in their wardrobe at the end of the game will be the winner.
Setup: Distribute 10 wool cards to each player, two of each colour, and place them on the table in front of you. This is your wardrobe. Shuffle the New York cards, players secretly have a look at some of them, then form a drawing deck and place it in the middle of the table.
Game: Starting with the first player and then clockwise the active player must perform two mandatory actions:
- Draw a New York card from the drawing deck and place it in the middle of the table next (right) to another New York card of the same colour.
- Sell or buy a wool card. To sell, take one card form your wardrobe and place it in the middle of the table, next (left) to the row of New York Cards of the same colour. To buy, take one wool card from the middle of the table and place it in your wardrobe.
The New York cards in the middle of the table represent the sales graph of the various products. As soon ad the seventh New York card of the same colour is placed in the middle of the table, assign the highest remaining value card (+2,+1,+1,-1,-2) to that colour.
End: As soon as the drawing deck runs out the game ends. Each wool card in their wardrobe scores points corresponding to the value card assigned to the respective colour. The player with the highest final score wins the game.
