Versus Trading Card Game (SNK vs Capcom)

VERSUS TCG is based on the SNK vs Capcom - Card Fighters' Clash video game (for Neo Geo Pocket Color). A two player fighting game with 50 card decks and 5 card hand size. Each player gets 3000 HP, and you lose if you have 0 life.

The full release version uses the same artwork from the video game for most of its cards. This consists of SNK and Capcom character cards, as well as Action cards. There are also some additional SP rarity cards which have new artwork, although some reuse art from other games. There were no further expansions after this set (there are no cards based on Card Fighters' Clash 2).

There is also a "Beta" version which was sold prior and uses exclusively character artwork from different games. These are generally easier to find and has led to confusion over the years as to this game's relation to Card Fighters' Clash.

Although the rules are similar to Card Fighters' Clash and some cards are exactly the same, there are a number of differences, such as character cards which subtract SP to play, cards with different abilities, and a new "star" card ability (in addition to the circle, square, and triangle types from the video game).
