Description

Valls 1809 is a Napoleonic wargame from the Spanish War of Independence. A battle in which Saint Cyr, commanding the French army, wants to finish off the Spanish army under Reding before sunset. Time is key for the French side while the ally must defend itself until night falls.

A simple block wargame for two players with a solitaire option.

With 5 minutes of explanation, it allows a dynamic game with several decisions that can be key to victory in approximately 15 - 20 minutes. It can be played with the basic module, but by adding the tactical cards, they give greater historical flavor and variety in the decisions of the players. Playing with events (optional) allow replayability in different hypothetical scenarios.

Will the Spanish army hold out until nightfall or will the potential of the French army be unrivaled?
