DWSSG3e is a storytelling game with plenty of events and situations, so each game will be a new, fresh experience.
An Adventure begins when the TARDIS lands at a location, be it modern-day London, the wilds of Sherwood Forest, or the distant planet of the Ood Sphere. An Adventure is played out as a series of Turns where you choose Actions, such as Exploring or Investigating.

After each Action, you may encounter an Enemy and consult the Enemy Booklet. In an Adventure, you need to Defeat an Enemy that begins as unknown but by taking Actions and gaining Knowledge to find out what has been happening, you will reveal the Enemy. However, the Enemy is never idle and always getting closer to completing their plans. You will have to track the current Danger in the Adventure and you will lose an Adventure if the Danger total is ever 20 or more.

Defeating an Enemy will gain you Victory Points, which is the way you can win the game. Once you finish an Adventure, you return to the TARDIS Manual and journey onwards into Time and Space.

Unmatched is a highly asymmetrical miniature fighting game for two or four players. Each hero is represented by a unique deck designed to evoke their style and legend. Tactical movement and no-luck combat resolution create a unique play experience that rewards expertise, but just when you've mastered one set, new heroes arrive to provide all new match-ups.

Battle of Legends, Volume Two features four heroes: Yennenga, Achilles, Sun Wukong, and Bloody Mary.

Combat is resolved quickly by comparing attack and defense cards. However, each card's unique effects and a simple but deep timing system lead to interesting decisions each time. The game also features an updated version of the line-of-sight system from Tannhäuser for ranged attacks and area effects.
