Description

Portobello is a board game inspired by the eponymous TV show (1977-1983) hosted by Enzo Tortora. In the show, all sorts of people would appear, selling odd items, proposing inventions or promoting uncommon ideas (such as the solution against fog), find long lost friends or acquaintance, meet love. The show is named after Portobello the parrot. The public could call to buy, get more information or support the participants. Some of the participants would be challenged to try to make Portobello utter his own name although almost no one ever managed it.

In the board game the players, through auctions, buy or sell antiques, collectables and other assets to increase the value of their collections.
Other activities include looking for a spouse, asking for Enzo Tortora's help or trying to make Portobello talk.

The winner is the player with the greatest wealth at the end.
