Ortrick
Description
Otrick contains rules for playing a trick-taking game with either 2 ("Violet") or 4 ("Scarlet") players; in the case of the latter, it is a 2v2 team game.
The game uses two decks of cards, one which represents the possible suits and one which represents the possible ranks. (There are additional cards for determining the trump suit, teams, and roles.)
In Scarlet, if one person on a team plays a suit, the other must play a rank. One of the teammates is assigned to be the "boss", and when their team wins tricks, this player will always then lead. (These roles rotate at the end of each round.)
In Violet, the remaining cards are dealt to a strawman player, and each player will play 2 cards to every trick, one from their own hand and one from the shared strawman.
For both rulesets, your goal is to win either 0 to 3 or 7 to 8 tricks. Some cards and suits may also be worth points. The person/team with the most points wins.
