Gamarra: The Card Game
Description
You're running late for the Christmas family reunion, and you still haven't purchased their presents. Opting for clothing seems like the easy choice, but everyone's facing the same dilemma right now, so going shopping is chaotic!
Welcome to Gamarra, Peru's most bustling and expansive clothes market, where you'll find everything you need and encounter stereotypical characters from Lima's streets like 'el pituco' (the rich guy), 'el guachiman' (the security guard), or 'el choro' (the robber), among others, who will assist you with your shopping list.
In Gamarra, each turn involves buying an item, summoning a character, or discarding any number of cards to replenish your hand. The objective is to be the first player to purchase between 3 to 5 items, with the winning number depending on the total number of players.
Furthermore, each time a player makes a purchase, it triggers an event from the Events Deck. These events cause random occurrences that affect all players' hands or characters, such as 'Sismo de 8 grados' (Earthquake), 'Hora Punta' (Rush hour), or 'Fin de mes' (Payday), among others.
