Description

In Flow: Untamed Rivers, each player represents one of 10 endangered species of the Amazon basin and tries to secure as large a Territory as possible. The player who does this best, wins the game.

Flow: Untamed Rivers is a strategic tile-laying game in which players take turns placing a tile on the rainforest board. This gradually forms a river labyrinth, in which you always have to be attentive so that you don't miss a chance for yourself or overlook one of your fellow players. Each player has only 3 Lair Tiles, which can be used to build Territories. Therefore, it is important to carefully weigh up when to use them and when it is better to wait. However, if you wait too long, it can be too late and you end up with only one or two Territories. In addition, each player has one Reservation Marker, which reserves a field of the rainforest board until the end and can be worth its weight in gold if placed on the right field.

The game was beautifully illustrated by the Brazilian artist Victor Sales, who, of course, has a very personal connection to the Amazon region.
