Description
In Dim Sum Derby, each player is hungry for a particular combination of dim sum. As dim sum becomes available, players try to eat the dim sum they crave. Players can rotate dim sum offerings between the players, add more dim sum to the table, add things to the cart, and other perform other manipulations to get achieve their culinary goals.... To quote the rules:
In summary:- A dish can come off the top of the cart in front of you to get onto the table IF there is room for it.
- Once on the table you place a portion marker on the card to indicate you have put some on your plate.
- After the card holds the maximum number of portion markers (see the number and circles on the card) it is scored.
- If you have a Yen card that matches the dish then you place the portion markers on your Yen card. If not, you discard the markers. No markers should return to your initial supply unless a Derby card states otherwise.
The game ends when a player either places her last portion marker on a dish, or has at least one portion marker on each of her Yen cards. You total your scored portions and partially eaten dishes, then subtract then number of Yen cards on which you have no markers whatsoever.
