Description

The "Guess the Name Game"

There's a plastic-coated, metallic gameboard with the alphabet printed on both sides, and two sets of small magnetic frames, each with 7 black and 3 red, as well as eight small decks of cards, which are boys' and girls' names divided in four levels of difficulty.

The game can be played by either 2 players or 2 teams of roughly equal capacity; therefore, there is no upper limit to the number of players except practicality. First, players must decide if they play a certain level of difficulty, certain gender, or if they want a random game with all the cards shuffled together. The board is set upright between the two teams on two plastic feet and then both teams reveal a card for themselves only. They must then use the magnetic frames to mark all the letters appearing in the name - red frames are used to denote letters that appear in the name more than once.

The gameboard is then turned the other way around and now the actual game begins, with the two teams competing in who is the quickest to guess the other team's name. (It must be agreed in advance whether all names that fit the given letters are allowed, or only the particular one in the card.)

The winning team gets the card as a point, and the first team to get 10 cards is the winner.
