Description

Shark alarm off the coast of Hawaii! The infamous shark twins Bob and Ruth are doing their rounds and they’ve worked up an appetite! So look after your fish and get them to safety fast by creating shoals. With a bit of luck, they will slip by the hungry maws of Bob and Ruth. Whoever is the best at schooling their fish will be declared the finner!

Goal:
The goal is to get the most points. To win, place cards with as many of your own fish as possible in the group shoal, taking care they don’t get caught by the two sharks.

Gameplay:
Each player takes 1 set of 23 cards in one colour, shuffle them and place them in front of you in a face-down pile.
On your turn, play 1 card from your hand, placing it face up in the middle of the table.
The first card is the start of the shoal, which must be exactly 4x4 cards at the end of the round. Place 1 shark next to as well as above the first card played.
Check after each turn whether you need to change the position of the sharks. Whenever there are more fish (regardless of their colour) in a row or column than in those being shadowed by the sharks, move the sharks accordingly to that row or column.
Once there are 16 cards in the shoal, the round ends. Now remove all cards from the row and column that the two sharks are currently shadowing.
Set aside any remaining cards from the shoal as a points pile.

Game end:
The game ends after the third round.
Count up all the fish in each colour. The winner is the player with the most fish in the points stack in their own colour.
