World Bowling Tour
Description
From rules: "As a Pro Bowler, you enjoy being on tour, playing tournaments, earning your living by doing what you enjoy most...bowling. You have as a goal, gaining a reputation as a top professional bowler and insuring that you can always earn a living through bowling."
Players move bowling pin shaped pawns on a track that looks like a bowling score sheet, participating in tournaments as they go, collecting money for setting records or meeting sponsors, paying money for purchases or hospital bills, investing in pro shops, and sometimes falling into slumps. For tournament play, a separate pawn shaped like a bowing ball moves along a separate tournament track that looks like a bowling ball knocking down two pins.
To win, players need to collect money and place first in at least one tournament.
The box cover pictures Don Carter and Paula Sperber, who endorse the game and were apparently popular bowlers back in the day.
