Viplex: Logical Board Game
Description
In the contemporary world, mental development and problem-solving abilities are increasingly recognized as crucial skills. Consequently, a newly introduced game named "Viplex" serves to facilitate players in enhancing their cognitive development in an engaging manner. The primary objective of the "Viplex" game is to utilize the available numerical resources to both endeavor to obtain the highest possible numerical value on one's own board and thwart the opponent's pursuit of the same objective.
Gameplay:
The game consists of 2 6x6 boards, 28 green, 28 white and 18 yellow pieces with the numbers 1 to 9 and 2 X's. The game is divided into two parts, green and white pieces. Each player has 3 pieces corresponding to their color and 1 yellow piece of each number. White and green pieces can only be played on your own board, while yellow pieces can be played on both the opponent's and your own board. In the two-player game of Viplex, the objective is to achieve the highest possible number by using the numbers in hand, horizontally, vertically, and diagonally from left to right and top to bottom. "X" tiles are considered wildcards in the game and are the most important tiles. "X" tiles are placed on the opponent's board and have the ability to cancel all movements vertically, horizontally, and diagonally from top to bottom and left to right where they are placed, and each player has only one of them. Our game can also be played with a sack. In this case, numbers are randomly selected from the sack. Thus, the bags add a factor of chance to the game and test the players' strategic thinking skills.
