Description
During the game players play the parts of supporters and opponents of Polish-Lithuanian real union in the XVI century. Both sides aim to gather more votes on the Sejm in Lublin in order to force their ideals. The side which has more votes at the end of the game, wins.
The main game mechanics is deckbuilding. Players start with their basic decks and are able to gain new cards from the central display. During his turn a player decides which cards to play for their effect, and which to leave for bidding phase. The highes bidder is allowed to take first pick from the display of new cards.
Players main objective is to accumulate votes, and when all 21 votes are distributed among players the one with majority wins. In four-player variant two teams compete and one of them wins.
Players also fight for endorsement from priesthood, magnates and nobility to gain special cards providing them with once-per-turn effects.
