Description

"Winter of 1937. Madrid, the republican capital, is threatened by an imminent nationalist attack. To recover the initiative the Republican high command decides to launch a strong offensive to occupy the city of Teruel. Among heavy snow, 30,000 Republican soldiers march from their positions; the battle that will decide the fate of the war begins."

Teruel is tactical level game depicting the two months of hard fighting over Teruel.

The game includes 216 counters representing Battalion and Brigade sized units and command units up to Corp level of the Republican ("Levante")and Nationalist ("Norte") armies in the area of Teruel. The counters are in the style of Spanish Civil War military symbols representing cavalry, infantry, armor, artillery, etc. Five separate scenarios are presented, including a solo scenario (Plan T).
