Ski the Mountain Card Game

Ski the Mountain is simple to learn, fun to play and can be enjoyed by families and experienced gamers alike. An exciting game that will give you a ski fix without leaving your sofa.

Ski the Mountain is a highly competitive card game for up to 4 players, perfect for après ski. Players collect runs attempting to be the first to ski various combinations or visit mountain restaurants. Watch out though there are lots of obstacles and distractions that can heed or hinder your progress.

Game contains over 100 cards of 7 different type, with photographic illustrations of skiing and mountains.

The aim of the game is to maximize the points scored by collecting ski runs. Each turn players can take a piste cards. These represent blue, red or black ski runs and in combination or alone allow players to take a run card. Using these cards players collect ski runs that are shown on the piste map. Collecting the right combination of ski runs maximizes the points players score.

Points are scored by:
1. Using piste cards, players take a run card, each run has a varying score.
2. Across the piste map there are targets to reach, these are illustrated cards of mountain restaurants or skiing features. By collecting the right run card these targets can be completed to add to players point totals.
3. Each player has a Grand Tour card that accumulate points as specific runs are collected.
4. There are also combined special runs on the piste map, that players race to complete. The add varying amounts to players point totals
5. Finally there are the highly prized Bonus cards that add points for being the first to collect 3 or 4 blue, red or black runs or visit mountain restaurants.

During the game players will also be given Event cards. These cards depict skiing related events that give player advantages or can stop your opponent. Either way they add lots of fun to the game.

The game is fast and highly competitive with lots of laughter as players block or hinder each other, as they race to Ski the Mountain.
