Description

In the aftermath of Atlantis's fall, ancient machines awaken to rebuild the empire from the floating ruins that remain. In Rex Atlantis, players take control of noble houses, guiding their automata to restore lost grandeur and seize power in a world reclaimed by nature.

Each turn, players move their automaton across eight distinct paths, representing different aspects of Atlantis's reconstruction. The main goal is to gather resources, and rebuild structures, while strategically positioning to gain influence over the empire's rebirth.

Each of the eight paths presents a range of crucial opportunities for players to shape the future of Atlantis. Along these paths, players can reprogram their automata to tackle complex objectives, adjusting their strategy as the game evolves. They can also activate advanced technologies, unlocking powerful abilities that can shift the balance of power in their favor.

Energy crystals, a vital resource, can be collected along the way, providing the fuel needed to carry out key actions. As players progress, they will also reconnect the floating islands, restoring the fractured landscape of Atlantis and opening new avenues for expansion. At critical points, they can contribute to rebuilding grand Atlantean structures, earning influence and cementing their house’s role in the empire’s resurgence.

Throughout the game, houses must balance their need for progress with limited resources. Only those who can outmaneuver their rivals and rebuild the most will secure control of the newborn Atlantean Empire.

The ending phase of the game begins when one player has used up all their markers. At the end of the following round, the house with the most influence (victory points) is declared the winner, cementing their legacy in the rebirth of Atlantis.
