Real Fishing
Description
OBJECTIVE:
Catch and bring in the highest total weight of fish.
GAME PLAY:
Draw a boat, choose your fishing "jigs" (rods) and lures, then set out to catch fish. You decide how far to travel (up to your boat's max speed) on each turn, but you have to slow down if you're in the weeds or in a dock zone.
Travel around the water "casting" and "flippin'" fish, and make sure you have the right jig for the type of water you're fishing. If you're "flippin'", you can get right up next to a fish, but if you're casting, you have to stay a few spaces away and roll the die to see if you've caught it. (Takes some initial strategy to make sure you have enough of the right jigs for the area you're planning to fish.)
And those fish are crafty - you might lose a rod or a lure or pull in a mermaid or old tire instead of a fish. And sometimes you have to throw one back.
Get back to your starting dock within 32 turns or start losing fish.
Includes rules for "Recreational" play and "Tournament" play.
