Other World

Other World is a fantasy themed game where each player assumes the role of a medieval character with weapon skill and spell casting skill.
There are two boards in which each places a pawn; the village and the catacombs. In the village players gain basic weapons (tokens), magical spells (cards), and enchanted weapons (cards). Players may also petition the king for increased abilities or to commission new weapons to be made. They may also serve in the king's army to gain influence, gather raw materials, sell materials at market, visit the healer, or hire the sorcerer to create magical items. All the while a dark prince roams the village causing havoc for the players. There are twelve creatures infesting the catacombs that can be fought for treasure, enchanted items, or victory points depending on the level in which they reside. Players use items to manipulate dice in combat.
Each player must move each turn and two players cannot occupy the same space. The creatures in the catacombs get increasingly difficult as a player moves to lower levels. The winner of the game is player to gain the most victory points. The game is played in 60 to 90 minutes and is for 3 to 5 players 12 years and older.
