海賊の宝島 ～オクラコーク～ is a trick taking game. The goal is to collect the most treasure in multiple rounds.

There are 36 cards in 4 suits, each with 9 cards from 1 to 5. Some cards will have a treasure with them. Each player will have 4 rum tokens at the beginning. Each player is dealt 4 cards. During each trick, players have to follow the lead suit. In case a player cannot follow, he draws a card and place it face down in front of him, which he will take it into his hand. (A playerr can also intentionally pass to draw one more card.) Otherwise, the player who plays the highest card wins the trick. He places the collected treasures (on the card) in front of himself. In case of a tie, the card with skull wins the trick.

When a player empties his hand, he escapes. When two players escape, the round ends. If a player escapes without collecting 3 treasures, he is punished for being a coward. He turns over a rum token to chicken token. If a player escapes with 3 or more treasures, he get a score equal to the number of collected treasure. For other players who cannot escape, they will be caught by the navy and lost a life (rum token).

The game ends when (i) a player has over 15 scores, or (ii) all players lost their last life. In case (i), the winner is who collected more treasures. In case (ii), everyone loses.
