Mix & Fix cardgame
Description
An educational mathematics card game from Finland. Each player is dealt seven cards face-down from a deck of 50 (numbered 1-15, and three jokers). One card is dealt on the table face-up and the dealer calls "MIX". Players now simultaneously pick up their cards and try to create an equation using exactly three of them with addition, subtraction, or multiplication that will result in the number on the face-up card. For example, if the face-up card shows 11, then (2 x 3) + 5 would do. Fastest player to create a valid equation calls "FIX" and wins a point; play until 21 points to find out who's the winner of the whole game.
Box back claims three play variants, but the rules actually have four: Solo game (practising math), Team game (team gets a point if any team member is the fastest), Joker game (jokers are included in the deck, can be any number) or Memory game (cards are simply used to play the traditional flip-a-card-at-a-time memory game).
