Description

A Native-American themed memory game for children.

Background story: Little Fox, a young Native American wants to be as brave as his father. He is sent out on his own to complete several difficult tasks. Can you help Little Fox succeed?

Aim of the game:
Being the first to complete 5 tasks.

Setup:
The 10 Indian path tiles are placed in a circle in random order. 7 tiles show tasks. The remaining 3 tiles show the sun, moon and the wise shaman. The 28 bush tiles are placed around the Indian path (on the face-down side, they show the same pictures as the ones on the path tiles). Each player gets a teepee board that has 5 slots for bush tiles. The Little Fox token is placed on the shaman path tile.

Gameplay:
Players take turns rolling the die and advancing Little Fox the corresponding number of spaces on the Indian path. If Little Fox lands on a task tile, the active player turns over a bush tile. If the bush tile shows the same picture as the task tile, the player gets to keep it and place it on his/her teepee board. If it is the wrong bush tile, it remains face-up.
If Little Fox lands on the sun tile, three bush tiles are turned over, then the die is rolled again. If Little Fox lands on the moon tile, all bush tiles that are face-up are turned face-down again. If Little Fox lands on the shaman tile, the player gets to take a tile of their choice.

The first player to have collected 5 bush tiles (= to have completed 5 tasks) wins the game.

Variants to increase difficulty include immediately turning bush tiles face-down again, and letting only the active player see a bush tile on the moon space.
