Keepers of the Crystal River
Description
As a volunteer conservationist, it is your job to hike to the Crystal River, keep track of the health of the river and the animals, fish and insects that reside at the Crystal River. With notebook in hand, you will spend time recording what wildlife you spot around the river. This can be a little tricky, since the water moves very quickly, and you have to jump around on floating logs. You have to watch out for floating debris, and you don’t want to get swept away down river. But you love your job and the danger associated with it. Can you find all of the animals, fish and insects without getting swept down river?
Keeper of the Crystal River is a solo, tile moving game where your goal is to mark off the animals, fish and insects in your journal that you have observed at the river. Each turn you will move your keeper, after which, you will shift all of the river sticks down one. As you jump on a log with animal, fish or insect icon, you will move a cube on your player to the right to indicate another one has been spotted. Beware of floating debris, it can be quite a challenge for the most seasoned observer. If you find everything in your journal and cross the river, you win!
