Inside the Box
Description
Inside the box is an association party game where players need to guess what’s inside the box.
Every round one of the players becomes the leader and finds out which package others have to find. The leader gives their associations, while others have to make a guess.
On the board there's a 5x5 grid of package cards.
Each round one player (the leader) takes a card showing a placement of the right package. The leader then takes two category cards and places them one by one between the "plus" and the "minus" cards. These are their associations concerning the connection of the category with the right package.
Now other players make their guesses: they can put their tokens on one of the cards, in-between 2 cards or even in-between 4 cards.
After each guessing phase the leader adds one category to the board.
When the players are out of their tokens, the leader reveals the placement card and explains their associations if they want to – the round ends.
Each player gets victory points for their tokens that were placed anywhere near the right package, while the leader gets the points for each player's closest guess.
The first player to get 25 points wins.
