Goering's Jets
Description
The year is 1946, at the end of World War II. On this day, unlike the large-scale air raids on the German mainland that had been carried out every day, the Allied Forces aimed to show decisive "power" in the war, thereby weakening Germany's will to fight and forcing it to surrender. Bombers attempt to bring the war to a close by dropping multiple bombs on the German mainland, the first in history to have the power to blow up a city.
The German Air Force deploys the latest jet fighter Me262 to intercept them. What will be the outcome of this battle?
Goering’s Jets is based on the premise that Hitler adopted a more rational force conservation policy in the latter half of World War II, that the war continued until 1946 and the Allied forces were unable to prepare for the final war. This is a battle-type simulation war game that recreates the strategic bombing of mainland Germany using "city-destroying bombs" in order to bring the curtain down.
