Crystal Clash: Light vs Darkness
Description
Crystal Clash is an easy-to-pick-up yet tremendously strategic card game for two players. One player picks the Light Deck and the other plays the Darkness Deck.
The goal of the game is to bring your opponent down to zero Crystals in their Crystal-Pool.
Each player starts with 10 Crystals (represented by 10-sided dice) and plays Characters, equips them with magical Relics and has them perform powerful Abilities. Your Crystals double as "Life Points" and resources.
At the beginning of your turn you draw 3 cards from your deck, then you may discard a card from your hand and add a number of Crystals to your Crystal-Pool equal to the Crystal Value of the discarded card (which doubles as cost to play the card from your hand). Then, in Main Phase, you may play Characters and Relics and have your Characters attack the opponent. Each unblocked attack results in 2 Crystals being removed from your opponent's Crystal Pool. If at any point a player has no more Crystals left in their Pool, they lose the game immediately.
Crystal Clash consists of two preconstructed, well balanced decks with 40 UNIQUE cards each. All the cards are illustrated in Anime-Style by Manchen Yang (the Darkness Deck) and Laurie Thomas (the Light Deck).
This game is a cooperative effort by Andreas Propst and Nora Propst, Andreas' younger sister.
