Card Sale
Description
"A game of creating ludicrous products & sabotaging the competition. "
The game starts with selecting a judge, or "Buyer". The rest of the players each draw cards and create and pitch a product they think will be enticing to the buyer, by using 1 "Thing" card and 1 "Feature" card. After this "initial pitch", players go around the table again, each playing one more feature card. This time features can be played on ANY product in play. Players can either attempt to improve their item, or sabotage the competition. Throughout the round players pitch their product, or try to knock the competition down a peg or two by arguing over the utility, value, and even the meaning, of the products and their features. After everyone has had a turn, the buyer eliminates their least favorite, and removes that item from the sale... But if you get knocked out, don't worry. Eliminated players get to continue playing by helping a buddy's product, or by crushing someone else's hopes and dreams.
Rounds continue with each player playing one feature card each round before the buyer eliminates another product. Products get more amazing, absurd, hilarious, or disastrous with every card and the game continues until only one product remains, which decides the winner and the buyer for the next game!
Unlike many judge-based games, Card Sale allows players to creatively "build" funny hands rather than just being rewarded for drawing the funniest pre-written punchline card.
