Description

Alien Sanctuary is a print and play, roll and write, solo player game design by Toby Lancaster from DR Games. You manage a sanctuary where aliens come for treatment and rehabilitation before being returned to their home world.

There has been a breakthrough in Jump Gate technology and the International Federation of Humans (IFH) has opened a jump gate to a distant star system known as Eridanus. It has three inhabited planets, one of which has two inhabited moons. The bounty has been beyond imagination. The land is rich and the aliens encountered are not sentient. These new worlds have been surveyed, are considered non-threatening and are being colonised despite your opposition. The human race is expanding and is now a two system species. You know there are problems with such advancement not to mention that during colonisation some alien species can be injured.

As part of the Galactic Responsibility Treaty (GRT), these aliens must be looked after and need a place to recover before being released back onto their planet. Seeing what is happening you approached the IFH with a proposal. You could set up an Alien Sanctuary where these aliens, injured as a consequence of human colonization, could be housed, healed and then released back to their home world. You were given the go ahead and the initial funding but told the venture would have to be a self-sustaining enterprise. Overheads of the colonization efforts are mounting up. Your venture has caught the public attention and now people are interested to see what the wonders of the Eridanus system has to offer.
