6x5
Description
6x5 is an abstract version of Xochintlan. Instead of using an Aztec background and square tiles, 6x5 sticks to basic colors and hexagon shaped tiles. This new version has a slightly different set of rules and also provides more variants.
Each player gets a Goal Card showing a pattern of 5 hexagons (among the 32 provided in the game). Everyone shares the very same 25 hexagons to build their pattern: 8 blue, 8 red, 8 yellow and 1 black. You try to be the first one to realize your pattern. To win, you must include in your pattern the black hexagon, and the 4 others must be of the same color (either all blue, all red or all yellow).
Whenever you get closer to your own goal, you might actually be helping your opponent as well. You cannot just focus on your own pattern, you must also try to decipher your opponent's and prevent it from being realized.
